1986-1988: Studied computer science at the University of Leiden.
1990-1991: Studied elektrotechnical engineering at the University of Delft.
1994-1995: Training for Financial/Administrative Assistant at the R.O.C. in Leiden. State certification in Applied Accounting: 1995. Typing diploma: 255 strokes a minute - which statistic has since considerably improved.

The latter function consisted of maintenance and implementation of the administrative software in use with Epitaph (MAS'90); user support and network maintenance, acquisition, maintenance and management of various equipment.
Moreover I troubleshot various positions, amongst which were production management, accounts Receivable, logistics, stock management, and on various occasions I filled in for the controller.
1998-today: Construction and maintenance of various websites, such as there are: www.wichers.net (personal), www.dbbr.nl (darts club), en talk.to/taenia (debating club).
1999-2000: Employed by Ster Kranen de Bruin B.V., Roelofarendsveen, as assistant accountant (parttime, 40%). Responsible, amongst other things, for Accounts Payable and Receivable. Implementation and maintenance of the current office network (which is cute!).
2001-2003: Employed by Distel Groep BV, Leiderdorp, as a programmer/analist. Worked on "NextWave", a standard solution for medium-sized horticultural industries.

Hobbies
Informational science, media and communication, especially music; machinery and technicalities; reading, writing and editing. I collect T-shirts and pens, and I play darts, which does not wholly agree with having a cat.
